We all have a favourite place. A favourite place is that location we hold dear. You might love to visit simply to have a think .... to remember .... or maybe as on this occasion to create! We visited to create a collection of gorgeous family memories. This location is one of our client's favourite places. The view across the water into the distance towards the mountains on the horizon. What a gorgeous location ~ the perfect place for our client to create their family memories and portraits.

The story started some time earlier when we met the children's Grandparents at our Portrait Display at the Bridgeman Baptist Community Church Markets and the purchase of a Gift Voucher. What a beautiful idea ~ a gift voucher to the family. When arranging a location with a client for a family session, we like to ask the question ~ "Do you have a location that's special to you?". Being a Mobile Photography Studio we shoot on location. This means you are free to create your family memories at your favourite locations, be it at home, the park, the lake or the sea .... and on this occasion the lake was it! How perfect is this!! Mother Nature truely is an amazing lady ~ we had been on location for an hour or so and was nearing the end of the session. We had shot all along the waters edge and she had put on a beautiful soft cloud for most of the session. We had taken a few finals shots and were beginning to think about finishing up and then this magic moment happened. The sun magically dropped below the clouds and onto the horizon creating a beautiful frame to a magical family portrait!
